DESCRIPTION
Valnoi represents the commitment to modernising and respecting the ancient Friulano grape, considered the most elegant “son” of this land. A white wine among the great wines of Italy, elevated by new winemaking knowledge while maintaining its bond with tradition.
Variety
Friulano, which genetic research has shown to be Sauvignonasse of French origin, arrived in Friuli in the 11th century and therefore rightly considered native.
Tasting Notes
Straw-yellow with greenish reflections, it offers an intense bouquet of wildflowers, almond tree, hawthorn and chamomile, with notes of vanilla and toast. On the palate it is enveloping, structured and refined, with a typical bitter almond finish and perfect balance between body and acidity.
Food Pairing
It finds the perfect match with Friuli dry-cured ham, omelettes, vegetable dishes and fish with a bold flavour. Serve chilled at 8–10°C.
