Batíso is a reference to the ancient traditions that have made our lands and our history unique.

The Batíso winery, with its Shop & Tasting Room, is located in Col San Martino, among the rolling hills of the Valdobbiadene area. We begin by respecting our origins in pursuit of a modern sparkling wine, an expression of our times. A thrilling challenge to explore the extraordinary potential of the Glera grape, in all its appellations. From DOC to DOCG, all the way to Riva di Colbertaldo, it's a succession of increasingly steep terrains that yield splendid fruit, nurtured by the expertise of our sparkling winemaking technique. After the baby's baptism in church, it was customary for him or her to participate in an ancient and meaningful ritual in which the baby's "santolo" (godfather), or grandfather, would bathe his or her lips with two drops of Prosecco to "initiate" him or her into the passion for the art of winemaking, the so-called "Batiso col vin Prosecco." Our "Batiso" Proseccos aim to leave an authentic impression on those who taste them.
