Polje, the Friulian wine.

On the sunny banks of a Collio hill, the Polje agricultural company was born, whose name derives from the characteristic karst sinkholes.

Head, Heart, Collio.

The Collio region, rich in prestige and renowned for its production of Friulano, Ribolla, and Sauvignon, among others, has given rise to our wines of great personality and elegance. The acquisition of the Polje estate in the village of Cormons occurred gradually, and today the vineyards extend around the winery for approximately 15 hectares between the wonderful green space of the Plessiva forest and the Slovenian border, and another 9 hectares in Scriò in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio. These gently rolling hills, known as "polje," formed by erosion of the Julian Alps, rise a few hundred meters above sea level, with the characteristic "ponca" and southern exposure unmistakably characterizing every aspect.
